These images represent our past, the years when the grape harvest was a grand celebration marking the completion of hard work.
This past enriches the present with experience passed down from father to son over the decades.

Our coat of arms, carved in marble and bearing the date 1646, is still visible in the Church of Santa Caterina in Rossiglione Superiore (GENOA).
Pizzorni is an ancient surname of Latin origin, derived from Pizus (point, corner), with roots in Brescia. It later became an important surname among the aristocratic families of Rossiglione (GENOA).
The Pizzorni family has always played a significant role in the history of the ancient village, where Sebastiano Pizzorni, grandfather of Paolo, was born. The family has held important positions as councilors during the Republic of Genoa, belonging to families of notaries, iron industry merchants, clergymen, and statesmen.
We personally cultivate our vineyards, located in a breathtaking natural landscape among the hills of the Acqui region, nestled in the Monferrato territory. Our vineyards stretch from Moirano d’Acqui to Alice Bel Colle and Ricaldone, at approximately 300 meters above sea level, with an intentionally limited production per hectare.
Our vineyards are situated in some of the most prestigious historical areas for the production of traditional wines such as Barbera, Dolcetto, Moscato, and Brachetto. To obtain superior quality grapes, we prune the vines short and dedicate ourselves to thinning the clusters, carrying out one or more green harvest interventions as needed. The grapes are handpicked in small perforated 20 kg crates to preserve their characteristics and are taken directly to the family winery for pressing.
We carefully oversee every stage of vinification, collaborating with internationally renowned oenologists. Our goal is to produce a high-quality, authentic product that respects tradition.
We firmly believe that good wine is born first and foremost in the vineyard. This is why we meticulously care for cultivation, fully respecting tradition. We work alongside specialized technicians and strictly adhere to agricultural and environmental programs for integrated vine protection. In our vineyards, we do not use pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers that could interfere with the natural vegetative cycle. For alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, we use natural yeasts, allowing the process to occur spontaneously. Additionally, the level of sulfites used during bottling is generally below the legal limits.
The presence of the thermal springs of Acqui Terme contributes to the unique microclimate of the area. Thanks to this exclusive condition, our wines naturally differ from vintage to vintage while always maintaining body, flavor, and fragrance, with a unique and unmistakable character.
